You placed an order, the count went up, and a week later it is lower. That is frustrating, but it is a normal part of how social platforms work, not a sign that something is broken. Understanding why it happens will help you choose services and set expectations.
Why counts drop
- Platform cleanups. Instagram and others regularly remove inactive, spam or flagged accounts. When a follower account is removed, your count falls by one.
- Different service quality. Some services deliver accounts that are more likely to be removed than others. That is why drop rate is one of the things to check on a service card, as explained in choosing services by speed, refill and drop rate.
- Real people unfollow. Even in organic growth, some followers leave after a few days.
- Platform updates. When a platform tightens its checks, counts can move more than usual for a while.
What a refill is
A refill is a top-up for the part of an order that dropped, available during the service's refill period. It restores the missing amount; it is not a bonus on top. Some services refill automatically, others need a request, and some have no refill at all. The service card tells you which applies.
Before you ask for a refill
- Check you are still inside the refill period. The card states the number of days.
- Compare against the start count. The start count is shown in your order history. Your own screenshot from before the order is the best proof.
- Make sure the account is unchanged. If the username changed, the account went private, or the post was deleted, the refill cannot be applied.
- Do not place a second order on the same link. It mixes the counters and makes the drop impossible to measure.
How to request one
Use the refill option on the order if the service supports it. If the option is not available or you are unsure, open a support ticket with the order ID, one ticket per order, and briefly say when you noticed the drop and by how much. Clear details move a request faster. The common reasons orders fail are also worth a look if the count never rose in the first place.
How to reduce drops in future
- Prefer services that list a refill period when the result needs to last.
- Test a new service with the minimum quantity and look at the count after several days.
- Keep the account public and unchanged while the order runs.
- If you resell, say plainly which services have no refill and price them accordingly.
What not to do
Do not cancel and reorder in a panic. It rarely speeds things up and can put you back in the queue. Wait the number of hours or days the service says, and contact support with the order ID if it still looks wrong.
