TikTok's Creator Rewards Program replaced the older Creator Fund and pays creators based on the performance of qualifying videos. Because TikTok adjusts the rules and the country list, the figures below come from widely reported guides, and you should confirm them on the Creator Rewards page inside the app.
The commonly reported requirements
- Followers: at least 10,000.
- Views: at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, measured on a rolling basis.
- Video length: qualifying videos are original and longer than one minute.
- Account: a personal account in good standing that follows community guidelines.
- Age: 18 or older.
- Location: available only in certain countries.
Since the views requirement is rolling, you can lose eligibility if your recent views drop below the line, then regain it when they recover.
What "original" means
Reposts, clips of other people's work, and heavily reused content generally do not qualify. Content that is clearly yours, with your own footage, voice or perspective, is what the program is looking for. Duets, stitches, ads and sponsored posts are commonly excluded from the earnings calculation.
Check your eligibility
- Open TikTok, go to your profile, then the creator tools or settings menu.
- Look for Creator Rewards. If it is not there, it may not be available in your country.
- Check your followers and 30-day views against the thresholds.
A plan to get from zero to qualified
- Choose a topic that supports longer videos. Tutorials, stories, reviews and explainers can naturally run past a minute.
- Study retention. Longer videos only help if people stay. Tighten the opening and cut filler. Our guide to the TikTok algorithm explains what the system looks at.
- Post consistently. Views over 30 days come from a steady stream of videos, not a single hit.
- Keep your content original. Add your own footage or voice to anything you build on.
- Review your analytics weekly. Double down on the topics with the best average watch time.
About buying growth to hit the numbers
The follower and view numbers are easy to see, so people are tempted to inflate them. The program is meant to reward content that real viewers watch, and TikTok reviews accounts for compliance. Purchased numbers do not create the engagement the rewards are based on, and can put an account at risk. Understand the trade-offs in are SMM panels safe before spending anything, and treat paid social proof as a small supplement at most.
Other ways to earn on TikTok
You do not need the rewards program to earn. Creators also sell products, promote services, run affiliate links and take brand deals. These often become possible well before 10,000 followers if your audience is engaged and clearly interested in one topic.
